ok, this might be long, if your one your phone, you might want to wait until you get home.

Being molested makes you a molester. Watching cooking shows makes you fat. Watching Antique Roadshow makes someone a conetestant on Hoarders: Buried alive!

Lets place the blame where it is. The kid was fucking crazy. HE murdered people.

Was this preventable? Probably in more ways than one.
1. He could have snapped because his mom tried to have him committed.



He then goes to Dicks Sporting Goods and tries to buy a firearm, they tell him to fuckoff for whatever reason.

Here is the first step of where this could have stopped. IF the sharing of information was commonplace, it could have ended right here. Dicks calls NICS to have background, nics says oh shit, mom tried to have him commited a couple days ago and now he is trying to buy a gun. LE is on the way please keep him waiting. But nooooo, thanks to the ACLU, sharing mental health with .gov is envasion of privacy



I'm not saying everyone suspeccted of being crazy should be on a list forever, but it would have taken 10 mins to write a report that could have been flagged by NICS.

Obviously there does need to be some type of protection if they did share information, we don't want pissed off wives saying their husbands are crazy and then them having to wait 15 years to get his guns back while he proves he isn't crazy.

2. Mom had many guns, probably browsed the owners manual and/or had some limited training on safety. Why wern't the guns secured? Or were they secured and she shared the key/combination with her son? She knew her kid was crazy and elected to not secure her weapons or made them accessible to him.

Whats really to blame in this shooting? Since 1950, every single mass shooting shares 2 common demoninators. Guns and Gun Free Zones (except for AZ rep Giffords who was shot not in a gun free zone)

So what to do? we already have tons of gun laws and regulations, infact CT ranks #5 as the most restrictive state to own a firearm. That doesn't curb the violence. Murder is illegal yet that doesn't curb the violence. Only other thing is gun free zones. It is proven that people target gun free zones to commit mass murder. Why? It is also proven that law abiding citizens confronting gunmen have stopped these sprees.

Gun owners are our own worst enemy. You have Hunter 2A people,ie. "I'm for the 2A but why do you need a semi auto rifle that takes 30 rounds?" Ok why do you need a 300RUM to shoot a deer? Well, most rifle calibers easily penetrate soft body armor, so what are you going to say when they want to take your "high powered sniper rifle"?

Gun owners need to come together and fight the left and their marxist agenda.

If the platform you want your representatives and gun lobbiest (NRA, GOA, SAF) is that video games made this kid snap, we are going to be stuck with bolt action rifles, pump shotguns, and handguns with a 5 round fixed mag.
