The Monterey County Sheriff's Office has identified the man killed in a three-vehicle crash near Soledad on Sunday. The crash was reported around 7:44 p.m. on south Highway 101 north of Front Street and involved three vehicles, according to the CHP.The details of how the crash occurred are currently under investigation. Subaru Impreza involved in the crash had three males from Salinas inside it. The driver and front passenger were ejected from the vehicle. The 25-year-old driver Uriel Morales was killed in the crash, per the Monterey County Sheriff's Office. The front passenger suffered major injuries and the rear passenger suffered minor injuries and he was not ejected from the vehicle, per CHP. The second vehicle involved was a black Audi SUV carrying adults in the driver and front passenger seats and two children in the rear seats. They all suffered minor injuries, per CHP.The third vehicle involved had two people inside and only the driver sustained minor injuries, per CHP. CHP says nobody has been arrested for driving under the influence. However, alcohol was located at the scene.
