Camo Studio free *humiliates* any webcam I've ever tried, including the embedded 1080p one on my previous workplace's LG Ultrafine 5k.
And this is with the free version, using an old iPhone SE.

These are fantastic news. I use FaceTime every single day and one of my main gripes with it was that I couldn’t use Camo. I’m loving it!

I have an over-the-top Zoom rig with a big camera, but it’s a hassle to setup/breakdown. I put together a simple alternative for quick sessions: @twelvesouth HoverBar Duo + @reincubate Camo.
Turns out the gap between at the big camera and iPhone is less than you think.

It's MASSIVELY better than the FaceTime camera.

I’ve been playing with Camo by @reincubate which lets you use your iPhone as a webcam with your Mac and have been VERY impressed! Easy to set up and start using. Great picture quality using the iPhone 13s camera. $79 for a lifetime license is well worth it to me!

I use my iphone 13 Pro over a £2k camera for work (a lot of motion+stability shooting)it’s that good. The ability to record and stream with less latency+have it work in xsplit is a massive must.
If/when Apple switch to higher data rate cables I’m guessing you guys will be singing

Which video apps is Camo compatible with?
Lots! More than 40, including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, FaceTime, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, GoToMeeting, Cisco Webex, QuickTime, Slack, Discord, WhatsApp and more. You can see the list on , or in Camo Studio itself.
Camo will never ask you to run some random command. We’re not like that.
Will Camo impact my privacy or security?
No. Camo doesn’t know what you’re using it for, and doesn’t capture or transmit your feed. Our privacy policy is here, but the tldr is that your data is your business, not ours.
What is Camo compatible with?
Camo Camera is compatible with any iOS device running iOS 15 or above, so you could run it on an iPod Touch just as well as your iPhone 16 Pro. Or iPad Pro.
Camo Camera for Android is compatible with devices running Android 7.0 or later.
It’ll run on any Mac with macOS 12.3 or newer, and on any PC with Windows 10 or newer.
Camo is compatible with iOS 26 and macOS 26. It is optimized for Apple Silicon.
How is Camo different?
