As a former barista and someone who now tests out coffee makers and tools for a living, it’s safe to say that I’ve made and consumed a lot of coffee in my day. I’m a huge fan of Yeti for all things outdoors — like its soft coolers and its wine chiller — and that unquestionably includes its items made for brewing and drinking coffee. I deeply love the 14-ounce stackable coffee mug when I’m bringing some brew on the road (or just to my patio), and I found the pour-over it released earlier this year to rival most I’ve tried — it even made our list of the best pour-overs in the game. Read on for some of my favorite gear from Yeti, as well as a few pieces I can’t wait to try.

I have a lot of experience making pour-overs with a wide range of brands and devices, and I found Yeti’s to be excellent. When the pour-over was first released, I wrote in my review that, “Since using this pour-over, I’ve found my coffee to be nearly indistinguishable from other pour-overs (i.e., it’s delicious).” I found it to be sturdy, tough, and unbelievably easy to clean, and it’s compatible with standard V60 filters as well as other filters you may be using. Whether you’re trying to make a tasty cup of single-origin brew while camping or just want a new toy for your kitchen, this is a top-notch piece of gear.

I’m not a huge French press guy, mostly because I prefer pour-over or making a big pot of drip coffee to sip on all day, but there’s no denying that Yeti’s iteration is great. My brother owns one, and he’s made some nice brews for me over the years. Our writer, Greg Baker — who is also not a huge French press fan — said he was “beyond impressed” with Yeti’s offering. He added that its ceramic-lined inner chamber and double-walled vacuum insulation were among the “excellent improvements” over glass or plastic French press models. If you’re a French press lifer, a skeptic, or somewhere in between, you’ll surely be pleased with this one.

I absolutely love Yeti’s portable coffee mugs. This 14-ounce model is the perfect size for a formidable cup on the go, at the campsite, or just around the house. The thick construction keeps it hot for hours, and I really like the magnetic lid — it’s really easy to open and close, and always stays clean. I use mine for coffee, but also for cocktails, both hot and cold, when I’m on the patio or out in the backyard using our fire pit. It’s a perfect all-season coffee mug, and it comes in a bunch of fun colors.

20-Ounce Tumbler

There’s a reason this tumbler has over 51,000 5-star ratings on Yeti: It’s one of the brand’s most iconic beverage containers. It has serious insulation, keeping drinks hot for hours, and it’s also dishwasher-safe. This piece is made for ease and longevity — it can even fit in most car cup holders. If you’re someone who wants to take along a larger amount of coffee (it’s also available in a 30-ounce option), this should get you through the day, and then some.

4-Ounce Stackable Espresso Cups, Set of 2

Whether you’re making a seriously concentrated pour-over, you’re brewing espresso from a different device you’ve brought along, or you’re taking shots of something that isn’t even coffee, these 4-ounce stackable espresso cups are a welcome addition to Yeti’s coffee collection. I own these, and really enjoy their portability — they have an extremely durable exterior and use both stainless steel and a ceramic lining inside to make sure your sips stay warm. 

20-Ounce Travel Mug

This travel mug offers the best of all worlds: It has the size and heat-holding capacity of Yeti’s bigger Rambler offerings, but also has a strong handle and a leak-resistant magnetic top, similar to those found on regular coffee mugs. Plus, they’re designed to fit in a standard cup holder. If I ever wanted to upgrade from my beloved 14-ounce mug, this is definitely the mug I’d pick up. 

24-Ounce Mug

Whether you brewed a big pot of fresh coffee at home and you’re bringing it off the grid or you just need a large amount to sip (and maybe share) over the course of the day, this 24-ounce mug is a great thing to have at the ready. It has all of the features you’d expect from a Yeti mug, and its welded handle will ensure you keep a solid grip on the goods. And while this is surely a great option for coffee, it’s also a nice choice if you want something that can double as a water tumbler, a beer glass, or a Diet Coke goblet.
