Square Grids are an IG StapleWhats up developers, 13 year IG veteran here. Hope all is well. I have two questions for you. (1.) Would you enforce us to make pancakes without flour if you discovered gluten-free methods were becoming popular? (2.) Would you eradicate the usage of all pens or pencils just because we now have the keyboard? No. I’m sure you wouldn’t. As a matter of fact, I believe you would provide us with the option to decide. The rectangular grid system is uprooting a fundamental element that made IG what it was. Remember back in the day when IG filters came with a SQUARE frame option? In the grand scheme of things, this is obviously a 1st world problem, but in regards to making the decision to keep the rectangular system, I’ve noticed that even you haven’t made your mind up. You’ve changed it back and forth several times, and of my two profiles, sometimes one of them has a square profile grid, and the other has rectangle, and that’s just from me toggling from one to the other in the same minute. I believe a rectangle display works as a fantastic method for displaying IG Reels, but I think we can all agree that squares are a foundational display method. I would suggest maybe adding an option in the settings menu so users, like myself, have the option to display a rectangular or square profile feed at their own discretion. Hope this helps.

Meta verified doesn’t workI have paid to verify both my instagram and my Facebook. When I go through the identification process it stops me at the two factor authentication. I have this both enabled on my Facebook and my Instagram. I have every authentication enabled from phone, to authentication app, to what’s app etc. it still does not detect it’s turned on. When I turned it off and back on it asked to verify my name and profile photo. I do then I get an error that says “page isn’t available right now. This may be because of a technical error that we’re working on to get fixed. Try reloading the page.” I reload and the same error occurs and I have to force quit the app to get instagram to open again. I have shook my phone so many times and reported the error and attached screenshots and the issue still remains. I keep getting messages on instagram please verify your identity to finish signing up for meta verified but your app won’t let me. There is no way to talk to customer support when you’re trying to sign up. You can only talk once you’re signed up. That’s unhelpful. If you’re trying to generate revenue have a place where people who want to pay to get verified receive customer service help. You’re loosing revenue because your system is not working for people who want to sign up for meta verification.

review(Don’t mind the 5 star had to put it so my review won’t get taken down) instagram is a great social media platform don’t get me wrong but their new update wit a.i and meta is a instant no for me. I have been using instagram longer but I only had my recent account for about a year now and it got suspended for a wrongfully no reason. Since a.i and meta basically taking over a HUMAN’S job is ridiculous. And it’s not just me lost of people have been complaining about the new update & their accounts being suspended for absolutely nothing.
They post it all on TikTok but my thing is maybe instagram haven’t seen peoples complaints because people are complaining and posting it on TikTok? I understand there might not be another way but coming to write a review under its app about it maybe can?
Anyways to continue about my account I have tried making different accounts one with my email but soon realized they took that one made another one with a different email next day that was took an so was my facebook that I made to talk to family members I don’t even have a profile picture post or anything like that on facebook but therefore it was still took I even appealed for it but I don’t believe they’ll see it now that it’s ai and so called meta.
