欧博百家乐VIDEO: Strangers jump into action to help Ken

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WLKY/CBS Newspath/WKRC) - A body camera recording from a Kentucky state trooper showed the moment a group of strangers stepped up to help the officer after he was shot during a traffic stop.

The video began with Trooper Jude Remilien exiting his vehicle after pulling over a pickup truck for a traffic stop. Shortly into the stop, shots begin to ring out as Remilien ducks and crawls away from the truck. The driver stepped out of the truck with his hands raised and got on the ground as the passenger jumped out, gun in hand, and ran to the driver's seat, driving away shortly after, the video showed.

WLKY reported that the driver would go on to shoot four people at Richmond Road Baptist Church, killing two. The incident occurred in July.

As Trooper Remilien lay bleeding in an open field next to the road, a group of passersby sprang into action to save his life. The Good Samaritans applied pressure to the gunshot wound, kept the trooper awake, and stayed by his side throughout the ordeal.

A group of the saviors - Jimmy and Jessica Alexander, Taylor Hall, and Officer Adam Arnold - were recognized by the Kentucky State Police on Thursday with the Meritorious Achievement Award, the highest award the KSP can bestow on a civilian. The award had reportedly not been handed out in years before this incident.

"If it was my son or me, I'd want somebody to do the same thing," Jimmy Alexander said. "That's just how I was raised, take care of people, don't think twice."
