Continue? (the Continue Screen) is a mechanic that appears in the Sonic.EXE: The Disaster series, which is subsequently displayed after the death of a survivor. As in the Sonic series or in Sonic.EXE fan games, the continue screen is a countdown asking the survivor if they want to continue playing as a minion, or give up and spectate the rest of the match.

Overview[]After a player is eliminated, the EXE character's laugh will be heard before the continue screen appears. The continue screen contains a pitch black background with red static and the survivor player's character with the EXE player's character being behind them. Two hands are on both sides slowly closing in on the player as the timer counts down. If the player continues, they are brought back to life as a minion. If else, the player remains dead and can only spectate the remainder of the match.
In Sonic.EXE: The Disaster Remake, the survivor player's teammates would appear one side of him and the minions would appear on the other side with Sonic.EXE laughing in the back.
