Notice to registered victims: Postal service disruption
Please note that if you choose to receive any information from PBC and CSC by mail, that services may be impacted by a disruption in postal service. We will continue to provide notifications to registered victims through the Victims Portal, telephone contact and courier service, where required.
The PBC and CSC encourage victims who have not already done so to register on the Victims Portal. The Victims Portal is a Government of Canada secure online portal that allows registered victims to access services and information electronically 24 hours a day/seven days a week.
Available to any registered victim of crime and/or their representative Victims may:
Receive/view information about the offender
View/manage preferences for receiving information
Submit a victim statement to the Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) and the Parole Board of Canada (PBC)
Request to observe a PBC hearing
Request to present a victim statement at a PBC hearing
Request copies of PBC decisions
Representatives may:Receive/view information about the offender provided on the victim's behalf
