Working with Generation Solar was a breath of fresh air. We sat down and listened to four different local companies. Blue Raven was extremely overpriced and very pushy. North Coast Solar had a really nice sales rep but was even more expensive than Blue Raven.The other companies were okay, not very knowledgeable when it came to explaining the process. More like kids trying to sell me something, to be honest. We really enjoyed our consultation with Jacob from Generation Solar. They answered all of our questions very thoroughly. We didn't feel pressured, and they kept their word on their timelines.They scheduled a site survey and found out we had mold in our attic and some water damage.They gave us a quote and added it to our solar payment, and our bill only went up two bucks! We did not pay a single penny out of pocket, which was hard for my wife and me to believe. On the day of installation, the guys showed up on time and knocked the project out. Our sales rep stopped by, brought pizza, and put our yard sign in. I wanted to wait a few months to leave a review to see how my system would actually work, and it is currently producing more power than I can use. I could go on and on about how happy we are to be part of the solar family. Take it from me, a guy who did his homework: Generation Solar is the best in Michigan. I would and will be referring jacob to anyone who wants to break up with consumers energy and make the smart decision to own their power instead of renting it from consumers energy.
