How Do Patients Want to Be Greeted? By Kiosk or a Person? Everyone knows by now the importance of using technology to create efficiencies within the practice. (If you don’t know, let’s chat. I can show you a whole new world!) But…are we taking it too far when we remove that initial personal connection? Yes!!! I’m all for making things easier for the patient and your staff. We can accomplish that with a digital intake process. Let the patient fill out that tedious paperwork on the couch at home. Then, when they arrive at your practice, no one experiences the stress of exchanging information. Research has shown the power of hearing your name. Don’t miss this opportunity. Your patients are coming to you in pain. Make them start feeling better just by walking in the door. If your patients enjoy being in your clinic and interacting with your team, they will likely keep coming back AND telling their friends what an awesome practice you have.
