For owners who identify that their properties are exempt because an occupant or tenant was residing in a hospital, long term, or support care facility, we may seek confirmation from the occupant or tenant who was residing at the property prior to seeking care to verify the owner’s property status declaration. 

Note  While occupants or tenants will not face any penalties if they do not provide supporting information, their assistance may be needed to validate the accuracy of declarations and to ensure taxes are levied appropriately against the owner of the property.

What you need to do

Note  The third-party consent form must accompany the evidence documents. If this form is not received, we will delete your information upon receipt and all documents will need to be resubmitted.
